Virtual Air Canada Airlines A321-XLRVirtual Air Canada is excited to announce the launch of our Airbus A321-XLR transatlantic service! Starting February 28, 2026, the A321-XLR will operate six European route pairs from Toronto and Montréal, bringing narrow-body long-range capability to our network for the first time.The A321-XLR’s 4,700 nautical mile range makes it ideal for these transatlantic routes, offering an efficient alternative to widebody aircraft on thinner European routes.

Winter 2025 South American & Caribbean Expansion

Virtual Air Canada RoutevACA is excited to announce our most ambitious winter expansion yet! Starting December 2025, we’re launching seven new routes to South America, the Caribbean, and Mexico, offering virtual pilots unprecedented access to tropical and southern hemisphere destinations during the Canadian winter months.This comprehensive expansion includes our first-ever service to Brazil with Toronto-Rio de Janeiro, new connections to Peru with Toronto-Lima, and enhanced Caribbean coverage with routes to Cartagena, Pointe-à-Pitre, and Puerto Escondido. We’re also strengthening our Mexican network with year-round service to Guadalajara.These winter routes provide virtual pilots with exciting warm-weather destinations and diverse flying challenges, from high-altitude approaches in South America to tropical island operations in the Caribbean.

Toronto to Dubai Route Suspension

Due to the ongoing security situation in the Middle East, Virtual Air Canada is temporarily suspending service between Toronto Pearson (CYYZ) and Dubai International Airport (OMDB), effective immediately.Pilots scheduled for these flights are advised to check the Pilot Portal for affected bookings and consider alternative route assignments during this period. The situation will be continuously monitored, and service will resume as soon as conditions permit.
