Cargo Operations
Complete guide for Virtual Air Canada Cargo operations including aircraft, liveries, and procedures
Virtual Air Canada Cargo operations provide pilots with the opportunity to fly freight missions using dedicated cargo aircraft or fictional cargo additions to our fleet. This comprehensive guide covers everything you need to know about cargo operations.
Beta
Air Canada Cargo routes are currently in beta testing, with potential scheduling inconsistencies and ongoing system improvements. If you encounter any issues, please report them in our Discord server so we can continue enhancing the cargo operations experience.
Available Cargo Aircraft
Virtual Air Canada Cargo operations utilize the following aircraft, all of which can be booked through the Pilot Portal:
Boeing 767-300 Cargo - Main Fleet
The primary aircraft for Virtual Air Canada Cargo operations:
- Real-world operations: Based on Air Canada’s actual cargo fleet
- Primary use: Domestic and international cargo routes
- Booking: Available through Pilot Portal for cargo flights
Fictional Cargo Fleet
To expand cargo flight opportunities, we’ve added these fictional aircraft:
Airbus A300 Cargo
- Type: Fictional addition to Air Canada Cargo
- Use case: Medium-haul cargo operations
- Booking: Available through Pilot Portal
Boeing 777F Cargo
- Type: Fictional addition to Air Canada Cargo
- Use case: Long-haul cargo operations
- Booking: Available through Pilot Portal
Cargo Routes
Our cargo route network consists of Boeing 767-300 flights that mirror real-world Air Canada Cargo operations. Additionally, Air Canada Cargo utilizes cargo space on passenger aircraft across their extensive network. To provide our pilots with more diverse flying opportunities, we are expanded our cargo routes by developing fictional schedules based on these passenger operations. This expansion allows pilots to operate cargo flights using various aircraft types across an increased number of routes.

Simulator Aircraft Recommendations
Payware Aircraft Disclaimer
Pilots should conduct their own research before purchasing any payware aircraft. While we list recommended developers and aircraft, the quality, features, and compatibility can vary between simulator versions and over time. We encourage pilots to:
- Read recent user reviews
- Check compatibility with your simulator version
- Test demo versions when available
- Verify system requirements
- Research developer support and update history
Virtual Air Canada Airline does not endorse or guarantee the quality of any specific aircraft addon.

Livery Requirements
Approved Livery Options
Due to limited availability of dedicated Air Canada Cargo liveries, multiple options are acceptable:
- Official Air Canada Cargo Liveries - When available, these are preferred
- Regular Air Canada Passenger Liveries - Acceptable for all cargo operations if no cargo livery is available
Recommended Community Liveries
When available, these community-created cargo liveries are suggested:
X-Plane
- Air Canada Cargo New Livery - Community cargo livery for X-Plane aircraft
Microsoft Flight Simulator
- PMDG 777F Air Canada Cargo - Dedicated 777F cargo livery
- iniBuilds A300-600R Air Canada Cargo C-GHLL - A300-600R cargo livery (4K)
Livery Flexibility for Cargo Operations
Since dedicated Air Canada Cargo liveries are limited in the simulation community, pilots may use any approved Air Canada passenger livery without restriction. This ensures cargo operations can proceed regardless of livery availability while maintaining our branding standards.
