What is Pilot ID?

Pilot ID is Virtual Air Canada’s unified authentication system that connects your pilot profile across all VACA platforms and tools. It serves as your single identity, linking your existing vAMSYS (Pilot Portal) account with custom pilot tools and upcoming features.
Pilot ID is hosted within NeoAirline, Virtual Air Canada’s custom-built airline management system. NeoAirline serves as the foundation for our expanded pilot portal infrastructure, providing the platform for Pilot ID and future pilot tools.

Effective 10 JAN 2026, all Virtual Air Canada pilots are required to register with the updated Pilot ID system as part of our strategic expansion of pilot portal systems.

How it works

The Pilot ID system works as an integrated authentication layer alongside your existing Pilot Portal (vAMSYS) account. Your current vAMSYS account remains fully operational and continues to serve as the foundation for:
  • Flight operations
  • PIREPs and flight logging
  • Core airline management functions
Pilot ID enhances your experience by enabling expanded services without disrupting your current workflows.
The existing Pilot Portal (vAMSYS) remains your primary platform for flight operations. Pilot ID adds additional capabilities on top of it.

Visit the registration portal

Navigate to https://links.canadava.com/pilot-id to begin registration.

Complete the registration form

Follow the prompts to link your existing pilot profile. The process typically takes less than two minutes to complete.

Confirm your registration

You will receive confirmation instructions via email once registration is complete.
