Intellectual Property Ownership

All documents, procedures, checklists, training materials, operational guides, images, logos, and written content hosted on this knowledge base are the intellectual property of Virtual Air Canada Airline (vACA). This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Airline Standard Operating Procedures (ASOPs)
  • Aircraft checklists and operating guides
  • Pilot quickstart guides and training resources
  • Route information and operational notices (NOTAMs)
  • Fleet documentation and livery references
  • Branding assets, logos, and visual identity materials
These materials have been developed through the collective effort of the vACA community and its contributors.

Permitted Use

Members of vACA and the general public are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
  • Access and view materials on this site for personal reference
  • Download content for personal, offline use in connection with flight simulation activities within vACA
  • Reference materials during flight simulation sessions
  • Share direct links to published pages with other pilots or prospective members
  • Copy, reproduce, or share content for the purpose of referencing it within vACA operations
  • Use automated tools (including scraping, crawling, AI tools, bots, and other integrations) to extract content for use as reference material in the context of vACA operations
This license is granted solely for referencing and use within the context of Virtual Air Canada Airline operations. Any use of content outside this context requires prior written permission.

Restrictions

The following activities are strictly prohibited without prior written permission from vACA administration:
  • Use outside vACA context - Copying, sharing, or redistributing content for any purpose unrelated to vACA operations
  • Commercial use - Using any content for commercial purposes, including monetized content creation, paid training services, or resale
  • Modification - Creating derivative works based on vACA content, including translations, adaptations, or remixes, for use outside of vACA
  • Misrepresentation - Presenting vACA content as your own or as the work of another organization
  • Redistribution on other platforms - Publishing content on other websites, forums, social media platforms, or file-sharing services for purposes unrelated to vACA

Trademarks

The following are proprietary to Virtual Air Canada Airline:
  • The “Virtual Air Canada Airline” name
  • The “vACA” abbreviation
  • All associated logos, wordmarks, and visual branding
Use of these marks without written authorization is prohibited.
Virtual Air Canada Airline is a non-commercial flight simulation community. It operates independently and holds no official affiliation with Air Canada, Jazz Aviation, or any other real-world airline, business entity, or aviation organization. Any resemblance to real-world airline branding is used solely for flight simulation purposes.

Third-Party Content

Where third-party content is referenced on this site - including real-world aviation terminology, ICAO and IATA codes, airport identifiers, aircraft manufacturer names, and regulatory references - those remain the property of their respective owners. Such references are used strictly for educational and flight simulation purposes and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Enforcement

vACA reserves the right to take appropriate action against unauthorized use of its intellectual property, including but not limited to:
  • Issuing takedown requests for infringing content
  • Revoking membership and access to vACA services and resources
  • Pursuing any additional remedies available under applicable law
