Connect Your Simulator
How Pegasus connects depends on which simulator you fly. For most pilots there is nothing extra to install.
- MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024: Nothing to install and nothing to configure. Pegasus connects through SimConnect, the interface built into the simulator itself. Start MSFS and Pegasus in either order and the connection establishes on its own.
- X-Plane 10, 11, and 12: No additional downloads. Pegasus connects over UDP.
- FSX, FSX:SE, Prepar3D, and FS2004: These connect through FSUIPC. Download the version that matches your simulator from fsuipc.com and install it. The free version is sufficient for flight tracking.
FSUIPC is no longer needed, or used, for MSFS. If you installed it only for Pegasus, you can leave it in place - it will simply be ignored.
