Initial Release

First official release of the consolidated Air Canada Virtual Airline Standard Operating Procedures (ASOPs) manual by VACA Team.

Revision Process

The ASOPs manual follows this revision process:

  1. Change proposals submitted by operational departments or individual pilots
  2. Review by Training, Standards, and Safety departments
  3. Approval by Chief Pilot and Director of Flight Operations
  4. Implementation with appropriate training and notification
  5. Regular review cycle (minimum annually)

Temporary Revisions

Temporary revisions may be issued between formal manual updates. These are distributed via:

  • NOTAM system
  • Pilot briefing packages
  • Electronic Flight Bag notifications
  • Company communications

All temporary revisions are incorporated into the next formal manual update.

Feedback and Suggestions

Pilots are encouraged to provide feedback on the ASOPs manual content. Suggestions for improvement can be submitted via:

  • The “Feedback” section in the Pilot Hub
  • Your Fleet Chief Pilot
  • The Standards department (team@candava.com)
